KiwiCo Play Kit Review

KiwiCo makes play-based learning kits for kids of all ages. We tested the Koala Crate that targets ages 2-4 for our preschooler. We happened to get the Dinosaur Kit which fit perfectly in with my son’s current dinosaur obsession and it was a huge hit. The kit included a fun game which let him practice his colors and taking turns, let me make a felt dinosaur hat and feet, and create dino fossils in clay. We spread the activities out over a few days, so it was a nice change and a fun activity to do together. KiwiCo kits are a monthly subscription or you also have the option of buying specific crates which works well if your child has a specific interest (or dinosaur obsession in my case). I also appreciate that these are easy to cancel or pause your subscription if necessary! Let us know how your child liked the kits!

Lovevery Play Kits

Lovevery’s Play Kits are great quality stage-based toys and games targeting babies and toddlers up to age 3. If your child is on the younger side, we love these kits. See here for our detailed review. These kits are pricier than others, but are predominantly wooden and will last for multiple children. Just enter in your child’s birth date for suggested kits. In addition to the toys, the kits come with a parent guide that is very useful for understanding your child’s skill focus and suggestions for how to best use the kit. Both my toddler and 4 year old will play with these toys, although in different ways.
